Description:
Obviously designed for added road visibility and safety, Magellan has equipped this device with a 120-degree wide-angle dash camera capable of recording high-resolution (1280 x 720) videos of the road ahead. Integrated with this camera is a G-Shock sensor that detects sudden vehicle impacts and speed change. In the case of a collision, for instance, the sensor automatically records the event by locking video footage and information such as the time, date, and location of the incident. At a sub-$200 price tag, this device also comes compatible with Magellan's back-up camera and standard RoadMate features, which may make it a good option for those who are looking for a cheap, feature-rich GPS system.
Also called Magellan 6230-LM.
