Description:
This dishwasher (AKA Whirlpool Stainless Steel WDF518SAAM) sports a "tall" stainless steel tub, yet still offers a rather low 8 place settings compared to other compact dishwashers and their up to 10 settings, while it contributes to bringing the classic all-stainless steel finish to the 18-inch dishwasher class, but without the classy concealed controls we see increasingly often. Besides, it also aims to reduce washing noise with Whirlpool's Quiet Partner Sound Package -- but its 57 db-rating is nowhere near "quiet" when compared with 40- to 45-decibel dishwashers.
