Description:
Although its Schott Duran glass pitcher gives it a classy look, the 1.7-liter Toastess electric kettle presents quite ordinary features like a safety shut-off function that activates when water boils, kettle is not on its base, or kettle is switched on without water. It has a concealed heating element, a swivel base with retractable cord, and an Aquascreen water filter (though we are not sure how it is different from other kettle filters). The graduated handle acts as a water level indicator.
