Description:
With its vacuum insulation keep warm mode, the Zojirushi CV-DSC40 claims to keep water at approximately 180 F six hours after boiling, while shutting off power. This energy-saving mode is complemented by a large 4-liter capacity, so one worries little about running out of hot water within the day. However, the large volume and low wattage lead to longer boil times especially when the kettle is filled to capacity (approx. 37 minutes).
