Description:
As with most basic 8-inch tablets, we struggled to find something that makes the Acer Iconia Tab 8 W stand out. It features Windows 8.1, a quad-core 1.3GHz processor with 1GB RAM, and an ordinary 1280- x 800-pixel display that we have already seen, even in some entry-level devices. All in all, it's not a bad option if you're looking for an affordable Windows tablet that can do basic office tasks. However, it might be worth noting that the cheaper Toshiba Encore 2 8 Pro offers better specs, including Dolby-enhanced audio and a slightly bigger rear camera, while the 4G-ready HP Stream 8 comes with the same processor, but also 200MB of free LTE data per month for a few extra bucks.
Also called Acer W1-810-1193.
