Description:
True to its name, the Hero 8 not only has a respectable 8-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, it also boasts a flagship-worthy 8-core processor with 2GB RAM. However, what makes this tablet quite different from its competitors is its capability to run apps simultaneously on small windows that can be minimized or maximized -- similar to those on a PC. This is probably what the octa-core CPU is for. And, since it is LTE-enabled, this aluminum-clad tablet is capable of making calls, sending text messages, and connecting to the internet on the go like a conventional 4G smartphone. Sadly, its 4060mAh battery looks a bit too small for its size, which is quite disappointing given its nearly high-end specs.
Also known as: Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, Alcatel D820X.
