Description:
At less than $150, the Archos 80 Cesium presents itself as an affordable alternative to high-end productivity-oriented tablets. Running the 64-bit version of Windows 8.1, this budget mid-ranger is powered by a quad-core 1.33 GHz Intel Atom processor and ships with a free one-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365 (just like other budget Windows tablet). Its 8-inch IPS display falls within the HD category which is not bad, but its having only 1GB of RAM might cause some performance issues with some Windows 8.1 apps. We also wonder how much of this tablet's16GB memory is left for user consumption since we know that Windows 8.1 alone consumes a lot of storage space. That being said, the 80 Cesium includes a memory expansion slot that accepts up to 128GB of extra storage.
Also called Archos Cesium 80.
